Green finger sock for amputated effect.
Bellow you will find some things I have made/modified to help with my visual effects show reel. I started off by getting a lot of this green cloth material and began cutting it into shape for a few different things. The first thing I used it for was a finger sock to mask off my finger for a severed limb idea that I had.

I then took that material and shaped it until it was roughly a good fit for my finger. When I was happy with the dimensions of the finger I went ahead and stitched up the back of it to make it fit comfortably. Thankfully my sewing skills aren't as rusty as I thought they would be.

I ended up not using this in the end because I ended up using green paint, which I found to be a lot easier in the end.
Pip-Boy Modification.
As a disclaimer, I did not make the Pip-Boy it was part of the Fallout 4 Collectors edition. I am a huge gaming fan so I had to include it in someway.
My original idea for gaming effects came from the likes of Street Fighter as I had motioned in earlier posts. With time constraints now I will only be to to do Ryu's fireball at some point, this lead me to use some of the collectables that I have.

In the above image, I used the same green cloth to cover the inside of the monitor, my plan for this effect is to essentially have it scroll through a Fallout style menu before changing it to a security camera feed showing my dad in the Vault Boy attire.
Updates and posting going forward.
I will be trying to update the blog going forward on a 1-2 day frequency showing my progress. I realise it had been sometime from my last post, Ulster University have been very accommodating due to my circumstances and I am extremely thankful for that. I will be sure to have posts come on this site as often as I can.
Bellow, you can see my new camera and bracket for screens. I have been having fun experimenting with a variety of things. Until next time, thanks for reading.
